Certifications ~ About Dr. Derrick Dr. Derrick is a Board Certified Urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with an active private practice in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also a Clinical Professor of Urology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, teaching Urology at all levels. Dr. Derrick was Professor and Chairman on the Department Urology at George Washington University in Washington, D. C. early in his career. Dr. Derrick has over 35years experience as a Urologist. He has authored or co-authored more than 75 articles in the medical literature, written chapters in textbooks and prepared numerous patient instruction booklets and video tapes. Dr. Derrick is a member of many medical organizations including The American Urological Association, American College of Surgeons, South Carolina Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Andrology, Society for Study of Male Reproduction and International Society of Urology. |
